Jennifer Aniston calls out Harvey Weinstein

The formerFriendsstar worked with Harvey Weinstein on the 2005 thriller,Derailed, and was asked if she was ever bullied by the former movie mogul during her career during the new interview.

Jennifer Aniston has spoken out about Harvey Weinstein in a candid interview with Variety.

The actress replied by saying: “I remember, right when Georgina’s clothing line Marchesa was starting, that’s when he came to visit me in London while we were shooting. He’d be like, ‘Ok, so I’d like you to wear one of these to the premiere. ’

“I went through the book, and at the time, it wasn’t what it is today.

“It was not for me. He was like, ‘You have to wear the dress. ’ That was my only bullying. And I was like, ‘No, I will not wear that dress. ’”

Jennifer concluded by saying that was the end of the discussion, “What was he going to do? Come over here and make me wear it? ”

In the interview, Jennifer also shed further light on Harvey’s “entitled,” behaviour, recalling one incident at a premiere.

“He literally came over to the table and said to my friend, “Get up! ” And I was like, “Oh my gosh. ” So, my friend got up and moved and Harvey sat down. It was just such a level of gross entitlement and piggish behaviour. ”

The star’s comments come after a number of sexual assault and harassment allegations have been made by multiple actresses after the New York Times and the New Yorker initially broke the story.

One of his most notable accusers was the actress, Rose McGowan who when speaking to GLAMOUR UK exclusively said about her abusers, “I just wish those people would fall off the planet. ”

Bullying claims have also come from Sienna Miller amongst others. Harvey Weinstein himself, who denies all charges, is currently awaiting trial.
