She’s gone from makeup counter girl and transformed herself into a one-woman beauty blogger with 1. 1m million Instagram followers and 703k YouTube subscribers who are legit obsessed with everything she posts.
Jamie Genevieve knows how to do a makeup look.
And her latest YouTube video is one of the best yet as she details her new “Superglam Look” with a bold lip and gold glitter smokey eye, which would be perfect for a big night out as we head towards Christmas party season.
The Scottish vlogger started the look by fake tanning, slapping on U Tan And Tone Turbo Tan In After Dark to give herself a golden glow.
After applying Nars Radiance Primer, Jamie then used YSL All Hours Stick Foundation In B50 70 as her foundation. She used the two shades to contour her face.
She then goes on to apply loose powder to bake her face before adding a bronzer.
Jamie admits that she has “tested this makeup out for longevity. It lasts so nicely and photographs really well. ”
She also used some of the Glamour Powerlist Winners in the tutorial.
Applying the Best Powder Blush Winner, Nars Orgasm she commented: “I’m not a huge blush wearer but this is such a nice blusher, just for everyday. It makes your face look a bit brighter and a bit more awake. ”
She then applied the Best Highlighter Winner, Becca Opal Highlighter, saying “Well done BAE” for winning the coveted gong.
Jamie is a such a huge fan of that she shows viewers that she hit “pan” so she’s clearly used it a lot.
As well as applying it on her face, she uses the reflective highlighter to dust it on her body, too.
She set her makeup on her skin with Mac Fix Plus Pinklite so it will last all night.

Setting spray is one of Jamie’s go to products. She previously told GLAMOUR: “I think the thing that has changed the game for me is, don’t be nervous over how much setting spray you use. I usually look like I’ve been for a shower, but I’ve got a full face of makeup on underneath. Afterwards your makeup doesn’t move. So just literally soak and fan yourself like the Queen of Sheba – I just literally fan myself until it wont move. ”
After shadowing her eyes with the Elsie Cosmetics The Minimalist Palette, Jamie jazzed up her look with Tarte Beach Babe Chrome Paint Pot and I Am Iconic Glitter Dipped In Gold, which really makes her blue eyes pop.
Of course, no look is complete without a strong lip and Jamie uses GLAMOUR Power List winner Urban Decay 24/7 lip liner in Bad Blood before using the YSL The Slim Lipstick Shade 21 over the top.
Now we just need a big night out to try the look out.
