J. Crew introduces a new range of sizes to fit each and every body and we have so much time for it

J. Crew just upped the game in the world of sartorial inclusivity. Announcing their expanding range of sizes, the label this week launched their new spectrum.

With sizes now ranging from XXS to XXXXXL (that’s 5XL), J. Crew have kicked off another successful campaign for body diversity by partnering with Universal Standard in order to glean best practices and ensure they’re doing everything they can.

Hallelujah! Primark ditches its clothing sizes to be more inclusive

To coincide with and celebrate the announcement, the US brand have launched a designated collection which “leverages Universal Standard’s highly technical approach to micrograding by size” to ensure that each design is tailored to work for the real, diverse spectrum of women.

Lisa Greenwald, J. Crew Chief Merchandising Officer, said: “Because great style and great fit are important to all of our customers, thoughtful sizing and attention to fit are at the centre of our design process. ”

“We’re honored to have partnered with Universal Standard, experts in the field, on this collection which kicks off a much larger roll out of extended sizes, new fits and fabrications across the brand. ”

“We’re on a mission to make great style available to everyone. ”

Bravo.
