Right now, our favourite celebs are giving us the best loungewear inspo. More specifically, Hailey Bieber. Her long-awaited TikTok debut – a dancing video with hubby Justin Bieber no less – immediately made us want to up our work-from-home wardrobe game.
If you’ve been reaching for the same outfit on every morning of your self-isolation so far (yoga leggings, plain white tee and old hoodie with holes in), it might be time to mix things up. Because, spoiler alert; we’re likely to be in this situation for a while.
Not only does her loungewear set look incredibly comfortable, but it’s spring appropriate (important, even if we can’t go outside much to enjoy the weather) and the shirt is the ultimate ‘sleepwear as daywear’ piece (because you could wear it on a video call with your boss and they’d never know any different). This trend, which has been booming for a while thanks to the likes of Fendi, Roksanda and Alexa Chung, reigns supreme and will do for the foreseeable.
The exact pyjama set seen in Hailey’s video is, unsurprisingly, sold out already (she wore the Vivian top and the Logan shorts from Brandy Melville), but we’ve discovered plenty of other alternatives.
At Selfridges, you can find a gorgeous cotton pyjama set in the same colourway as Hailey’s by luxury nightwear designer, Derek Rose. It’s a playful gingham print – a huge SS20 trend spearheaded by Miu Miu. At a more accessible price point is H&M’s linen pyjama shorts set. (We’ll definitely be wearing that shirt out to work when lockdown is over.) There’s also this blue set by Topshop, which, thanks to its contrast piping, looks infinitely more expensive than it actually is.
