Drunk Elephant is launching hair products

Don’t believe us? Just look to the success of Kylie Cosmetics and Glossier, who shunned a bricks and mortar store in favour of an aesthetically-pleasing Instagram shop.

The greatest nu-gen beauty brands are born on the ‘gram. Fact.

Likewise, Drunk Elephant, which is also now available on Amazon, has become one of the most popular digital beauty brands, amassing a waiting list of thousands of beauty aficionados when it announced it was launching in the UK. The brand’s Insta grid is full of envy-inducing shelfies and, of course, their range of picture-perfect white products with brightly-coloured lids.

Clean skincare is at the heart of this colourful brand, with zero toxins, ‘question mark ingredients’ or ubiquitous marketing jargon. No wonder it’s forged such a cult following, which is about to get a lot bigger. Why? Because the brand just revealed that a haircare range is ‘coming soon’. Do freak out.

It all started when Jennifer Aniston’s longtime hairstylist (and the man behind “The Rachel”), Chris McMillan, shared an Instagram photo of Aniston on the carpet, and pointed out how unexpected it was for the actor to wear her hair as it naturally dries. “This was such an honor to be a part of. The hair is Jen’s natural curl and waves,” he wrote in the caption. Listing the products he used to get the look, he revealed he used a Drunk Elephant detangling spray. Obviously fans rushed to the comments section to ask if a haircare range was on its way, to which the brand replied ‘coming soon’.

Ready to get #drunkinlove?

One of Asia’s most popular beauty brands has just launched in the UK (and their hero product costs under £2)

It’s no secret that most beauty lovers are still looking to K Beauty for the latest innovations, and now one of Asia’s biggest brands, Nature Republic, has launched in the UK.

Facial sheet masks have been taking over the face mask market, and we’re always looking for quality products that can suit a more purse-friendly budget.

Nature Republic’s £1.80 sheet masks come in an array of types: Green tea, cucumber, bamboo, aloe, avocado, olive and more. They all serve the dual purpose of moisturising and revitalising the skin, so these are ideal for those looking to rejuvenate their skin after a long day or a busy week.

They recommend you use the masks after toner and then apply the mask sheet onto the face using the eye area to align it correctly and leave on for 10-20 minutes. To make the most out of your sheet mask, patting gently aids the product absorption into the skin.

The brand launched their first and only K Beauty store last month, but have settled online, too. As well as selling these bargain masks, the brand also sells its highly rated Aloe Vera Gel, £6.50. Its popularity stems from the 92% concentration of Aloe Vera, a rare find when it comes to concentrations. What’s more, 1 million of these aloe vera gels have sold in 24 hours, so it’s definitely a staple in natural moisturisers for a lot of people.

Another highlight from the Nature Republic skincare collection is the Aqua Max Fresh Water Cream, £16.50. It’s a long lasting moisturiser that claims to keep the skin hydrated for 72 hours. The water in the cream itself is actually formulated with deep sea water from Kona in Hawaii and has 33 different marine extracts for the ultimate moisture surge.
