I Tried Old Navy’s Bestselling High-Waisted Jeans

Not only are these jeans flattering, (I love a good high waist) they’re also insanely comfortable. They have some stretch, but not the type that feels baggy. I can throw them in the washing machine, and they maintain their shape perfectly.

I often sit cross-legged on the sofa, and these are just as easy to wear all day long as sweatpants. I’m not kidding – they’re the perfect sort of denim to put on for extended periods of time.

I dread jeans shopping. Getting tons of pairs on and off my body in the fitting room is a straight-up nightmare. That’s why I jumped at the chance to order these Old Navy Extra High-Waisted Boyfriend Straight Jeans ($35, originally $40) – they arrived to the comfort of my home, hassle-free.

I was curious about this pair in particular because they’re bestsellers on the site – the customer reviews got me excited to give them a shot.

These boyfriend jeans comes in sizes 0-20, as well as tall, petite, and regular lengths. They’re discounted right now, so I suggested getting your hands on my new faves while you still can. I might have to stock up on an extra pair!

You’re about to see this heavenly Scandi-inspired H&M two-piece all over your Instagram feed

If you’re anything like us – and the rest of the fashion industry – then you’ve likely spent the last few seasons utterly obsessed with airy, loose-fit, often-puff-sleeved midi dresses.

But has the time come to move on?

Fear not, we’re not suggesting an entirely clean break from the whimsical silhouette, but rather putting a little distance right in the middle of it in via a little two-piece situation.

A good top-and-skirt combo can be hard to find, with so many feeling like a relatively mediocre take on the famous Cher Horowitz aesthetic. We are, however, here with good news. Let us introduce you to what we’re already dubbing *the* two-piece of the season.

Undoubtedly reminiscent of fashion favourite Copenhagen-based label Cecilie Bahnsen, whose textured seersucker dresses have romanced the entire fashion crowd over recent seasons, this top-and-skirt take is actually from one of our favourite high street heroes, H&M.

The crinkled, cream, wrapover blouse in an airy, pattern-weave fabric features a puffed-sleeve and an almost flared waist beneath the waist-tie, which creates the perfect shape to layer over the sibling skirt. Oh, and it’s only £24. 99.

Made from the same floaty fabric, the skirt – with its perfect mid-length hem – has a gathered seam towards the top to allow the piece added width and enhance the overall silhouette. It could be yours for just £39. 99.

Into it? We know what you’re thinking. You would be if you had anywhere to wear it to right now… But have you ever thought of dressing up for yourself rather than for others? You might be surprised to see how much a fun outfit lifts your mood for a day spent working from home.

A look you’ll see all over Instagram in the coming weeks, we’re predicting a speedy sell out so you might want to act fast.
