Being at home with all-day access to the fridge and pantry can make it easy to overeat without realizing it. Ina Garten’s Ridiculously Easy Pasta Recipe Is One You’ll Want to Try ASAP

If you’re looking for an easy and fresh summer dinner, look no further than this recipe by Ina Garten. The Food Network host and all-around culinary goddess shared an Instagram video of her recipe for Summer Garden Pasta back in 2017, and needless to say, it’s been a staple of ours ever since. The light and seasonal pasta recipe only calls for a few ingredients besides staples like olive oil and salt: angel hair pasta, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, red pepper flakes, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.

While the preparation is beyond easy, you’ll have to practice a little bit of patience and allow yourself a few hours to marinate the tomatoes. Ina recommends allowing the tomatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and red pepper flakes to sit in a bowl covered in plastic wrap for about four hours. It seems time-consuming, but it’s totally worth it – the tomatoes soak up the salt and olive oil to become even juicier, and the garlic and chili flakes add layers of flavor. Besides that, all you have to do is cook the angel hair (in three minutes! ) and toss with the marinated tomatoes, basil, and cheese, and dinner is served. As Ina would say, “How easy is that? ”
