Here’s your first look at Glossier’s new body products

The mystery is solved as we no longer have to wonder if Glossier did soap, ‘What would it look like? ’

The infamous Glossier pink has been moulded into a shower bar, packed with finely-milled, biodegradable Bamboo powder, plus Sunflower Seed Oil and Aloe Leaf Juice to lock in moisture, delivering a foaming feel and an ever-so-slightly abrasive texture for a light exfoliation. It’s more exfoliant than cleanser, but as they literally think of everything; it even has a groove to add in a squidge of the super cleansing Daily Oil Wash.

As if taking over our makeup bags and skincare shelf wasn’t enough, the Glossier team have set their sights on our bath, shower and bodycare routine too and we’re not sure we’ll be able to resist the takeover.

Following on from the Body Heroes launch in 2017, with a memorable campaign featuring curvaceous beauty Paloma Elsesser, there are two newbies joining the body care line-up – Body Hero Dry-Touch Oil Mist, £24, and an Exfoliating Bar, £12. And as one of the perks of working from home, we took them for a spin in the shower this morning and here’s our first impressions.

While this bar has got serious bathside appeal, our favourite of the two new drops has to be the post shower follow-up, the Dry-Touch Oil Mist. Best applied to damp skin, it’s summer skin in a spritz. The dry oil combo of Sunflower Seed and Grape Seed oils glide on, sink right in and give skin that holiday glow we’re severely missing right now.

Plus the familiar Orange Blossom Neroli scent instantly transports you to happy times in sunny climes, and had us sniffing for more, just as they predicted – ‘the sparkling scent lingers faintly on your skin, so you get a whisper of “vacation” throughout the day. ’ So stick your OOO on and jump into the shower, it’s the holiday destination you are allowed to head to right now.
