Based in Brighton, the story is centered around an illegal romance between Tom and Patrick that is uncovered 40 years later.
Set to the backdrop of the 50s, My Policeman explores Tom’s current relationship with his wife Marion as his thwarted love of the past is revealed.
So who will Harry Styles play? It has been reported that he will star as the policeman, Tom, whilst Lily will take on the role of Marion. If rumours of this epic new partnership are true, the world is in for a treat.
Harry Styles is set to crack Hollywood once and for all. Earlier this week, it was announced he would be starring alongside Florence Pugh in Olivia Wilde’s upcoming thriller Don’t Worry Darling, and now reports have suggested he is starring in Amazon’s adaptation of the acclaimed novel, My Policeman, with Lily James. Award winning director Michael Grandage is set to direct My Policeman which will be based on Oscar-nominee Ron Nyswaner ‘s adapted screenplay of the original 2012 novel from Bethan Roberts.
This has been a major week for the pop star and actor who was confirmed to star in Olivia’s Wilde new thriller, Don’t Worry Darling, alongside Hollywood A-listers Florence Pugh, Chris Pine and Dakota Johnson.
