The popstar andVoiceco-judge showed off her rock on Instagram Stories while in the car. She and Shelton were waiting outside the People’s Choice Awards to see if Shelton took home an award. (Because of Covid-19 restrictions, celebs hung out curbside at the venue and only went in if they won. )
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton announced their engagement on Instagram at the end of October. “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life. . I love you. I heard a YES! ” Shelton wrote alongside a photo of the couple kissing, with Stefani holding up her left hand.
This pic was too much of a wide shot for us to get a good look at her engagement ring – but now we know exactly what it looks like.
“So basically I have to stay in the car because of Covid, but I’m here to support Blake in case he wins,” Stefani said, accidentally showing off her large square diamond ring. Check it out for yourself, below:
Gwen and Blake started dating in November 2015. They both were going through divorces at the time: Stefani from Gavin Rossdale and Shelton from Miranda Lambert. “It’s not something that anybody could have seen coming, besides God, I guess,” Shelton told Entertainment Tonight in 2016 about their relationship.
“It doesn’t look like it would make sense, you know? But all I can tell you is, it does. It just makes the most perfect sense for us and where we’re at in our lives. I tell people all the time, ‘Gwen saved my life last year. ’ She did, and I think she would probably tell you something similar about me. ”
