The Biebers led the way in cracking open the boxes of baubles with a cute time-lapse video of Hailey and Biebs adorning their very tasteful tree. Special mention should go to Justin’s exemplary fairy light winding skills; spiralling around the tree with not so much as a tangle or broken bulb to be seen.
If only our adventures with fairy lights were so simple.
Never have we needed Christmas cheer more than this terribly trying year. And with all the ever-changing chaos and confusion of bubbles, tiers, what we can or cannot do, who we can or cannot see, one thing we can rely on to bring us 100% festive joy (and envy) is ogling celebrities festive preparations. In particular; their trees. And so far, so extra.
In a year when we’ve spent more time than ever becoming (remotely) acquainted with the interiors of our friends, colleagues, neighbours homes (because lockdown, Zoom, Instagram, lockdown) we’ve also seen more than we could ever have hoped to have imagined from inside the multi-million dollar homes of the A-list. From Reese Witherspoon’s kitchen counters to Jennifer Aniston’s walk-in closet to Harry and Meghan’s artfully curated shelves at their new Californian pad. Now it’s time for Christmas trees to take centre stage.
Then it was the turn of Madonna plus four of her brood to deliver a super-heartwarming vid of their tree trimming party. With a pink haired Madge in a splendid looking monochrome home coat, David Banda, Mercy James and twins Stella and Estere took turns to place their homemade decorations on their tree. ‘We decided to make our own decorations,’ Madonna posted. ‘This is me being Roasted by kids!! I was going for needy starfish.’
Unsurprisingly, the Kardashian klan have done their part keeping up with Khristmas (soz) tree extra-ness with all five sisters vying for top tree contender. We can’t decide who wins, but are leaning towards Kim and Kanye’s all white number, followed by Kylie’s towering beauty. Come on Kris, show us yours…
And last, but most certainly not least, we present you with the Legend household – or rather more specifically – back yard, which, if what we can glimpse from a handful of Chrissy Teigen’s Instagram posts, has been completely transformed into an incredible winter wonderland of well, wonder! With no less than SIX trees, all covered in giant baubles and faux snow. Legends by name and legends by nature, especially at Christmastime.
