Florence Pugh has been the undisputed queen of the red carpet as of late with her collection of sheer yet chic ensembles.
And the Don’t Worry Darling proved that her off-duty look was just as effortless as she stepped out for a spot of retail therapy at iconic clothing store Fred Segal in West Hollywood. The 26-year-old shunned her bra in a slinky pink slip dress while a black hoodie was tied around her hips in case she felt chilly later.
Florence added a rock chic element to the look in a pair of retro-inspired black platforms ankle boots and accessorised with a chic necklace, earrings and a septum nose ring. The star, who viewers can currently see in the new Netflix movie, The Wonder, looked happy and relaxed as she enjoyed her Californian outing.
Taking risks with her fashion, the British actress recently attended the Academy’s 13th annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles wearing an almost-completely-sheer white Victoria Beckham gown with polka dot details.
The star kicked off her sheer dress tour in a hot pink tulle Valentino gown at the fashion house’s Haute Couture show at Milan Fashion Week in July.
A few days after posting the look on her Instagram page, she hit back at the «vulgar men» in her comments section. «Why are you so scared of breasts? Small? Large? Left? Right? Only one? Maybe none? What. Is. So. Terrifying? » she asked in part of her lengthy follow-up post shared on July 10.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with The Telegraph, Florence Pugh said that when she was 19 and cast as a pop star in a television series in Los Angeles, she was told that she needed to alter her appearance.
«All the things that they were trying to change about me—whether it was my weight, my look, the shape of my face, the shape of my eyebrows—that was so not what I wanted to do, or the industry I wanted to work in,» Florence said. The series was never picked up, so Florence went back to England and was eventually cast in Lady Macbeth, which really got her noticed and jump-started her movie stardom. Always listen to your gut, folks!
