Zara is no stranger to producing collections that we all obsess over, but the latest drop – the AW19 campaign collection – is one of their coolest of recent seasons.
Slightly separate from their mainline, which seems to release new pieces every time we look, the campaign collections are released biannually and feature higher quality fabrics. The designers have more creative freedom than those of the core collections, and aren’t tied to traditional ‘trends’.
It also, unsurprisingly, sells out pronto.
Of course, being the campaign collection, it also comes complete with its own campaign (duh); a photo series which not only perfectly depicts every piece, but also provides maximum sartorial inspo as to how to style each one.
This season’s aesthetic? It feels almost Versace-like, with luxurious fabrics adorned with busy prints and rich hues. Gold hardware puts the finishing touches to their fashion-forward yet timeless accessories, while outerwear is grown-up and elegant without feeling outdated or stuffy.
Here are the 10 pieces our Fashion Editor can’t wait to get her hands on…
Kim Kardashian Looks Amazing in This Skintight Outfit, but Her Heels Are Sexier
Kim Kardashian is all about mixing animal prints, and so are we. The starlet, who just celebrated her 39th birthday in a hoodie at home, did a style 360 while attending an event in Calabasas, California.
Kim was seen at an Ulta Beauty store to promote her beauty line KKW wearing a body-hugging outfit that could easily be worn on one of your next date nights. She wore a snakeskin print crop top that had an asymmetrical neckline and long sleeves. Kim styled it with a skintight black midi skirt by Rick Owens that was ruched along the front.
Rather than slipping into a simple pair of monochrome heels, she decided to add in an unexpected animal print with her heels. Kim slipped into a pair of black strappy Giuseppe Zanotti heels that appeared to come in a unique zebra-print. Now that’s one easy way of mixing and matching prints this Fall! To complete her look, Kim slicked her hair back into a sleek, low ponytail to show off a pair of’80s-inspired gold earrings that made her whole outfit pop. Keep reading to get a closer look at her full outfit. Then, shop similar versions of her high heels if you’re feeling particularly inspired ahead.
Millie Bobby Brown Just Tried Out the Floating Eyeliner Trend in the Coolest Way
Millie Bobby Brown is no beauty novice. The actress has been sitting in makeup chairs for years on the set of Stranger Things, has her own beauty brand Florence by Mills, and most recently is experimenting with a daring makeup trend.
The 15-year-old’s makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan posted an image of the actress with iridescent floating eyeliner above and below her eyes, with the caption, “shootin’ after the shoot…Taking DIY to a whole new level,” which included some CD emojis. Considering how iridescent the liner is, it’s possible Deenihan cut up old CDs to give the star the cool effect and attached it to Brown’s face using lash adhesive. This look is so cool, we can’t wait to see what unique take on a trend Brown will try next.
