Everything you need to know about fertility crystals

In the last 12 months, searches for “crystals for fertility” were up 180% and “fertility crystals” were up 110% in the UK, according to Google Trends data, suggesting that it’s something we want to hear more about.

As many as 1 in 7 couples experience difficulty conceiving – something that’s likely to be even more difficult with a sharp spike reported in the number of babies born in nine months since Coronavirus pandemic was declared*.

Crystal healing is not a new thing. Ancient Egyptians used crystals like turquoise and emerald for protection and health. The Ancient Greeks even came up with most of the names we use today.

Yet as soon as stars like Victoria Beckham, Megan Fox, Adele and Kim Kardashian West were raving about their healing powers, crystals were having a moment again.

Now it seems, everyone wants to know how they can help with fertility.

As far as traditional fertility treatments there are three main types recommended in these cases, ranging from medication, to surgical procedures and assisted conception, although alternative therapies including acupuncture, crystal therapy and crystal jewellery are also becoming more popular.

“When someone is experiencing fertility issues, it can mean that they have an imbalance or blockage in their Sacral Chakra,’ says Spiritual Healer Julie Higgins, founder of Rebel Alchemy, based in Hackney, East London.

“The Sacral Chakra is a woman’s powerhouse controlling reproduction, work, career, finances, creativity, self-esteem, sexuality, relationships and emotions. ”

The process of crystal healing is about tapping into the energetic power of crystals and how they affect the body and mind. A crystal healer works to stimulate the body’s energy flow to restore balance and help the body heal itself.

Julie continues: “One way of remediating any of the issues in your chakras is via energy healing. Something which may need just a few sessions.

“Using crystals for healing is a longer journey because you have to wear them constantly on your body and they must always be cleansed and programmed before you start work with them. ”
