We all need a little good news right now and we were served it overnight with reports that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are expecting their first child together.
The couple are yet to comment (and we’ve reached out to their respective publicists) but according to TMZ, the model is around 20 weeks pregnant with the 27-year-old singer’s baby.
According to TMZ: “Family sources for the couple tell us … Gigi is 20 weeks along. It’s unclear if they know the sex of the baby yet, but both of their families are very excited. The supermodel shared some celebratory photos with the former One Direction singer this past weekend, but they weren’t baby related … they were birthday pics. ”
The pair took to social media to share a few snaps to mark Gigi’s birthday over the weekend and looks more loved-up than ever. As avid fans of Zigi will know, the pair have had a somewhat turbulent relationship.
Zayn and Gigi first became official back in January 2016, six months after he and Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards, broke up.
After a few years of ‘are they on or off? ’ twists and turns, they broke our hearts when they broke up in March 2018 before getting back together in the summer that year before ending things again in January 2019. I mean, it sounds exhausting, right?
According to E! , Zayn and Gigi rekindled their romance back in December (which would’ve been around the time they conceived) after, “Zayn has been reaching out to Gigi for the last month, and she is giving him another chance…She has always loved him and the break between the two was needed,” the source continued. ”Zayn has been working on his past music and focusing on his health and is in a really good place currently. ”
Zayn has also previously divulged how Gigi helped him get past his teenage angst, saying, “I had a very negative outlook on things. That might have been adolescence or testosterone or whatever the f*ck was running through my body at the time. She’s helped me to look at things from a positive angle. ”
