In the iconic motion picture masterpiece “Life-Size,” a wise Tyra Banks once sang: “Eves great, no matter where she goes.”
This could not have been more true than at the 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards, where rapper and talk show host Eve turned up in a bold, spicy red Christian Siriano cape dress complete with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit.
The awards show, which took place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, honored the leads of soup operas, as well as talk, game and cooking shows. But even among a crowd of steamy soup stars, Eve emerged as the red carpet standout.
The 39-year-old, who joined “The Talk” as a host in October, commanded attention in a crimson gown, gold mirrored platform Charlotte Olympia heels and a simple gold choker. The dramatic cape detailing complemented the dresss body-hugging silhouette, while the leopard print clutch was a subtle addition to not-exactly-subtle ensemble. Eve rounded out the look with gold hoops, her blond hair swept up in a loose up-do.
Over on Instagram, Siriano posted after the event to share his excitement. “Chic and fabulous! Eve is just stunning in Siriano tonight at the #daytimeemmys,” he captioned one photo. Well have to agree with both Siriano and Banks on this one: Eves a star who shines bright and shines far.
