Dude turns a Tinder convo into an interactive game, with mixed results

This brave soul goes by the name BostelJ, and he shared his story on /r/Tinder/ about how he created an interactive game, and it all went south.

It takes a lot of creativity to get someone to message you back on Tinder. Frankly the fails, the dirty messages and the absolutely legendary exchanges on Tinder are our bread and butter here at TheChive, but we’ve never seen a guy turns his pick up line into a “Choose Your Own Adventure” game.

Just like the books from our childhood, it’s an adventure ride, that doesn’t end well. At least, it never did for me.

Matching with our mystery girl, he starts off with an innocent “Pick a door” request.

She complies.

She’s still playing, so I guess she’s into him. Or not. I dunno.

I met my girl the old fashioned way.

And boom. He gets slapped across the face.

But that’s ok, he takes one for the team, for what comes next.

I’d say the story was a success. Maybe more people should be trying this method.

BostelJ, you’re our hero.

There were also some comments to be had.

A lot of people had the same thought. That is a lot of work for a Snap, and most people thought he was trying too hard.

Some thought this belonged in the “Tinder Cringe Hall of Fame.”

Of course, you want to know how it all turned out, right?

Not well. I’m not gonna lie.

After all that, she ghosted him. He crafted an adventure tale of mystery and intrigue, and he’s gonna have to end up lighting up in own lighthouse tonight.

That’s gotta smart. Should have just sent her a picture of your junk. That always works, right?
