Dude sets a Guinness Record for the most Marvel tattoos, Photos

Even though Avengers Infinity War has been out for a while, the Marvel fever hasn’t died down. Marvel fans all over the world are still riding the high of that epic film, including this guy; Rick Scolamiero from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

You could say, he’s a Marvel super fan, just based on his ink. It’s some seriously sweet art that celebrates the best of the Marvel comics.

As it turns out, he’s officially recognized by the people at Guinness World Records as the person with the Most Marvel comic book characters tattooed on the body.

At the time of the award, he was sitting at 31, though I’m sure he’s got more since. He started back in 2011 with Spiderman, with the intent of just getting a sleeve done. When he saw the work of the artist, however, he wanted more.

Just take a look at that canvas. On top of the superheroes, he’s also got Bruce Lee, Tupac, his baby and some geometric designs. He’s been getting tattooed once a month for the past 7 years – a total of 350 hours of work. All of it done by Tony Sklepic of Sanitarium Studios in Edmonton.

I apologize for the banana hammock, though. Here are his tattoos:

That’s currently 31 based on the video of the official count, though there’s a tattoo of Magneto on his neck now, that wasn’t there when the title was awarded.

He’s also got Stan Lee’s autograph tattooed on his wrist. He’s legit.
