Drew Barrymore is officially the latest Hollywood star to start a clothing line, following in the footsteps of women like Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Richie, and Kate Hudson. Dear Drew by Drew Barrymore is available on Amazon Fashion and includes clothing, bags, jewelry, luggage, lingerie, and even hair tools. Which, if they can provide us with Drew’s effortlessly tousled waves, we’ll totally buy.
Prices range from $38 for scarves and rings to $248 for a tea-length dress or trench coat. Other items include work-appropriate high-waisted trousers for $98, a $108 Gucci-inspired metallic pleated skirt, and a pair of cashmere sweatpants that practically scream comfort for $131.
With its signature heart graphic applied to everything from handbag clasps to cardigans, the collection is described as “a love letter to women around the world,” and it definitely shows the influence of Barrymore’s worldly, bohemian sense of style. “The brand’s mission is to provide positive inspiration and a grounding voice to all women,” notes an Amazon press release.
And while this is Barrymore’s first foray into fashion, she’s long been heralded as a successful entrepreneur in the beauty space. Her company Flower Beauty, which was founded in 2013, is sold online and in over 4,000 Wal-Mart stores around the country. Much like Dear Drew, Flower’s ethos is providing women with high-quality products at an affordable price point, a mission we can easily get behind.
