Having been founded in 2003, cult LA influencer brand Revolve has been impossible to shop from the UK with free shipping for over 15 years. Until today.
Launching officially in the UK for the first time, the A-list-approved online label has made free express shipping services and a free returns available to us Brits – and our wardrobes are beside themselves.
Jumping on the influencer marketing magic early on, Revolve has amassed a cult following that includes the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Olivia Culpo, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, Joan Smalls and Chrissy Teigen – the latter of which has even collaborated on her own collection with the brand.
Ahead of tonight’s big launch party in London, GLAMOUR UK caught up with Co-Founder Michael Mente and Chief Brand Officer Raissa Gerona to find out what all the fuss is about…
We’ve taken over a 150-room hotel in Palm Springs and dressed around 1,000 influencers for #REVOLVEfestival 2018 which was pretty huge! To date, we’ve built an influencer network of over 10,000 and this is always growing.
What’s been your proudest moment so far on this Revolve journey?
There have been so many milestones along the way; from our #REVOLVEAroundTheWorld events, amazing VIP collaborators, and now our UK launch which is kicking-off with free shipping and returns. It’s so exciting to see the brand and customer base grow so organically.
Is there a UK influencer that you’d like to work with/see promote Revolve?
There are so many great influencers here in the UK! From girls with global reach, to ones that really resonate with the local customer, we’re keen to work with a diverse portfolio of influencers that really encapsulate the ‘REVOLVE Girl’.
Is there a celebrity/influencer in particular you’d love to create a collection with?
There are so many great UK faces that we love to work with. Maya Jama, Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne are just a few who we think we could create something really exciting with.

For a UK shopper who’s never used the site – and may be overwhelmed by the wealth of stock – do you have any tips on how to tackle it strategically?
Check new arrivals daily and Wishlist everything you’re loving. Or just follow our gram @revolve- all the cutest, newest styles are promoted daily. Best way to shop!
Do you anticipate that the looks that Brit shoppers create will be particularly different from your current US shoppers?
We think there are similarities in the US and British customers; both are confident with their style with a ‘work hard, play hard’ attitude, so expect to see lots of popular brands and pieces on both sides – regardless of the difference in weather!
Why do you think influencer marketing is such a powerful formula?
It’s the instant nature of working with influencers and social media that makes it so impactful. Influencers also feel really accessible and relatable, and that includes their style.
Where do you hope to take the brand next?
We’re continuing our #REVOLVEAroundTheWorld events including 3 big parties happening. Longer term, we will work on a lot more UK dedicated activity, including pop-up shops, collaborations and VIP parties.
