Cult beauty brand Coco Eve is launching a mega Black Friday sale

With Black Friday only a few days away (mark your calendars for the 27th, people), a staggering 35,000 people (and counting) have signed up to the biggest Coco Eve waitlist yet.

The cult Balinese beauty brand is offering people who sign up VIP exclusive access, 20% off everything and 30% off everything if you spend above £100. Mega!

Taking a brand to ‘cult’ status is no mean feat these days. There’s new beauty brands cropping up all over Instagram every week, from the latest sustainability trailblazers to sub-brands from beauty giants, so it’s not often a social media savvy brand captures our attention.

That’s why in 2017, when Coco Eve first burst onto the Instagram scene with its Like A Virgin Hair Masque and beauty lovers posted carefully curated shots of the pretty pink and green tub, we took notice. As months passed and five star reviews took over the internet, we soon realised this hair mask was no social media 15-minute famer.

As news spread that the brand (which up until this point was strictly a haircare brand) had launched a new fake tan with accessories, fans of the hair mask got seriously excited – and nearly a year on – judging by the waitlist it’s amassed for its Black Friday 2020 sale – its popularity shows no sign of abating.

So what should you snap up? Well, we’ve got our eye on the product that made the brand Insta-famous, the Coco Eve Like a Virgin Hair Masque which is usually £34. 90 but £27. 92 in the sale. We’re also keen to try the Coco Eve Miracle Hair Elixir, which is usually £28. 90 but on sale for £23. 12, as well as the Coco Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam – reduced from £29. 90 to £23. 92, and the much-hyped Coco Eve Sunny Honey Bronzing Face Drops, which have been slashed from £22. 90 to £18. 32.

The brand launched in Bali where its founders spent years testing, developing and perfecting their formulas. They promise to never use drying and damaging sulfates, phthalates or parabens like 98. 9% of beauty products.

“Indonesia (of which Bali is home to) is the world’s largest coconut producer, and with so many health benefits, for the hair and skin, it was only right for us to use coconut as the main ingredient as well as other powerful Bali ingredients in our formulas,” they say.

In lieu of a trip to Bali, we’re planning on stockpiling the stuff… especially after seeing these offers. Here are the ones we’re shopping (and check out the best beauty deals on offer this Black Friday while you’re at it).
