Chloë Sevigny has been an indie culture mainstay since the 90s, when she was being declared "the coolest girl in the world" by the New Yorker and starring in films like "Kids." Now, at age 43, Sevigny still manages to exude a kind of nightlife-loving cool-kid vibe that makes it hard to remember that shes been part of the scene for multiple decades. Her seemingly outside-of-time aura was on full display Tuesday night at a Planned Parenthood gala in New York City.
Wearing gold brocade shorts with a gauzy pink Resort 2018 Prada blouse accessorized with simple black heels, a small clutch and big hoop earrings, Sevigny couldve seemed out of place at a gala that saw many other attendees opting for fancier dresses. But a "cool kid" of any age is the kind of person who can show up in whatever they want without seeming either over- or under-dressed, and Sevigny did just that with her signature aplomb. Aspiring "It" girls, take note.
