Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are reuniting on-screen for the first time since their divorce

Brad, 56, and Jen, 51, will be appearing together for a virtual live table read of the 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

The all-star line-up also includes Jimmy Kimmel, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Shia LaBeouf, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Dane Cook and Sean Penn, who rose to fame with his role in the original ’80s classic.

The live event will raise money for the charity CORE Response, co-founded by Penn, and will stream on their Facebook and TikTok channels at 5pm PST on 21st August. For us in the UK, that’s at the pretty unsociable time of 1am, Saturday 22nd August.

It’s one of the most anticipated reunions in all of celeb-land – Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are reuniting for work, for the first time in 19 years.

The last time the pair were seen on screen together was in 2001, when Brad made a guest appearance as Will Colbert on Friends alongside Jen-An (Brad’s character hilariously couldn’t stand Rachel Green). The pair were a year into their marriage at the time but separated in early 2005, after which Brad famously married Angelina Jolie, from whom he split in 2016.

You’ll also be able to stream it on LiveXLive, where you’ll be able to donate to CORE and other organisations currently battling the Coronavirus pandemic.

‘On behalf of our dedicated team at CORE, I’m so appreciative of the support Dane Cook, who’s appearing in the read and will also help present the reading has given and continues to give to our work,’ Penn wrote in a press release. ‘I’m always game for a giggle. So to gather remotely for a night of laughs with so many talented folks while providing CORE with much-needed resources to continue our vital work – then consider us fully onboard to play! ’

We don’t know about you, but we reckon it’ll be worth staying up ’till the early hours to see the reunion in real time.
