From creams to gels, pastes to solutions, anyone who’s ever suffered with stubborn spots will have splashed out on a treatment that promises to banish your blemishes for good.
Ever on the lookout for skincare saviours, we were fascinated to learn of a new product courtesy of Australian beauty blogger, Chloe Morello, who debuted a pretty unusual acne solution on her Instagram stories.
The 28-year-old beauty expert took to Instagram to share the product she’s been using on the regular to shrink her spots, and it’s no run-of-the-mill cream, but a pimple patch.
In her story, Morello explained that when an angry non-hormonal spot reared its head, she applied one of Vice Reversa’s Transdermal Pimple Patches, and waited for a few hours for the product to work its magic.
“The pimple is a little bit smaller. It has no head and no sign of it,” she said in her story.
The proof is in her before-and-after photos, where you can see that the original spot has noticeably reduced in size and redness.
On Vice Reversa’s website, it explains that the patches are formulated with hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid and green tea extract hydrate, which penetrate “deep into the skin to stop bacteria from forming, while moisturising, soothing and repairing your skin”.
Plus, one box rings in at a purse-friendly £19.95, which will see you through several skincare emergencies.
Best of all, the patches are cruelty-free, vegan, and free of parabens, preservatives, additives and fragrances.
So the next time a spot appears at the worst possible moment, pop on a patch and sit back – clear skin could be just a couple of hours away.
