The nominations were revealed this morning on The Today Show by actors Alfre Woodard, Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Bell, and Sharon Stone as well as Golden Globe ambassador Simone Garcia Johnson, Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Meher Tatna, and executive vice president of television at Dick Clark Productions Barry Adelman.
The nominations for the 7th annual Golden Globes, which will take place on January7, 2018, are officially in, and some of our favorite TV shows, including Big Little Lies,Feud: Bette and Joan, and The Handmaid’s Tale have already scored big with multiple nominations, including a whopping six for Big Little Lies. In the film categories, Lady Bird, Molly’s Game,Get Out, and I, Tonya received multiple noms.
The Golden Globes are one of the only awards ceremonies to include both film and television and it’s also known for being one of the more fun shows to both watch and attend. While other ceremonies all but ban booze, the Globes have drink service at every table, which often leads to some, shall we say, entertaining acceptance speeches from celebrities.
