ASOS’s Black Friday sale is going to be the site’s biggest ever so here are the items worth buying

Although we’re yet to find outexactlywhat the retail giant has up its very stylish sleeve for the big day, if last year is anything to go by, it’s going to be worth getting up early for.

Last year’s deals saw discounts of up to 70% on everything (and we mean, everything), so we’ve already started doing our homework on the best buys – and luckily for you, we’re happy to share.

If you haven’t yet set your alarms and started creating wishlists in anticipation of Black Friday, what are you waiting for? This year we’re expecting huge discounts from all of our favourite retailers, – and the one we’re particularly excited for?

ASOS’s Black Friday sale which we’re told will be their biggest EVER *eeeeek*. As far as the best Black Friday fashion deals go, it’s set to be a good ‘un.

What to buy in the ASOS Black Friday sale

Virtual window shopping on ASOS ranks high up there with our favourite hobbies – after all, there is just so much to browse. Yes, it can be quite overwhelming at times (read our Fashion Editor’s tips to navigating the site here), but you’re guaranteed to always find what you’re looking for, and ASOS’s Black Friday sale will be no different. But what is worth shopping come November 27?

ASOS Black Friday fashion deals

According to ASOS “TheASOScustomer loves dresses, with 32 million styles sold this year! ASOSEDITION is the go-to occasionwear label serving everything from full-on sequin maxis to puff-sleeve leather mini dresses. Look out for quilted pieces to tick AW20 trend boxes and find a dress to see out 2020 in style. ”

For trend-led pieces, we couldn’t agree more. This quilted duvet coat has a very Toteme-esque feel to it (for a fraction of the price) – and we think it’ll quickly become a wardrobe staple. If you’re in the market for a dress, we love this printed Topshop style – perfect for layering up in winter, you’ll still get plenty of use out of it when temperatures start to rise.

In other words, trends don’t need to be avoided altogether – but focus on pieces that you know will fit in with your existing wardrobe. A good rule of thumb is to think of *at least* three items in your wardrobe you can style the new purchase with before you hit add to bag.

We’re also big fans of finding items on sale that can form part of a capsule wardrobe. If discounts are applied across all brands, expect to see us adding these classic Levi jeans to our bag, and this lightweight, draped &other stories blazer. Oh and don’t forget these mock croc knee high boots.

ASOS Black Friday beauty deals

ASOS really has become the ultimate one stop shop, not only for fashion but for beauty too. Their roster of brands is seriously impressive – from classic brands like MAC and Estee Lauder to affordable It-skincare brands like The Ordinary and The Inkey List, you’d be hard pressed to find a skincare or beauty brand worth buying not on ASOS. They even stock an extensive range of GHD straighteners, curlers, and hair dryers so your tresses aren’t neglected either.

ASOS’s Black Friday sale is a great place to save some of your hard earned cash and treat yourself (or the beauty junkie in your life). We recommend stocking up basics – a good moisturiser like Clinique’s classic Moisture Surge or this illuminating balm from Bobbi Brown would both make great buys.

Also if you find your go-to foundation (this one from MAC is a make-up artist favourite), lipstick or mascara marked down, it’ll definitely be worth buying – especially if the brand itself isn’t participating in Black Friday. Finally if you’ve been wanting to experiment with a new eyeshadow or serum, now’s the time to do it; but keep in mind what works for your skin type and tone – just because a lipstick is £1 doesn’t mean that fuchsia purple with magically become your shade.
