Alexander Wang’s Feathered Party Headbands Cost $6,000

Alexander Wang transported his Spring 2018 show to Brooklyn where he threw an all-out block party during New York Fashion Week in September, where he stayed true to his party persona.

And sent a slew of sexy black mini dresses, cargo pants, and more down the runway on some of his fave models including Candice Swanepoel, Kendall Jenner, and Bella Hadid–but the highlight of the show was the accessories, as models rocked crowns similar to the type you would purchase at a party supply store for a New Year’s Eve party.

If you’ve been dying to get your hands on the crowns ever since you saw the show, you’re in luck–but it might set you back a few thousand dollars.

While the custom-made headbands, crafted by Stephen Jones, are available to order in stores, the made-to-order creations,(constructed of feathers and rhinestones), are accompanied by a hefty price tag, with the cheapest crown costing $3,900 and the most expensive priced at $6,000. There are seven headbands in total that are currently available.

The headbands are reminiscent of the crowns party-goers wear on New Year’s Eve and feature sayings like: ‘Party Animal,’ ‘Wang Over,’ ‘Secret Location,’ and ‘After After Party. ’

From high-fashion refrigerators to see-through plastic tote bags, it looks like the fashion world hasn’t tired of punking us with extravagantly price-items–but if the $6,000 price tag is a bit much for a headband, there’s always the option below if you need to get that fashion fix.
