Online shoppers are known for sharing their thoughts openly when it comes to brands disappointing them, but it often dies down after a few days. In an unusually long-standing show of mass outcry, Boohoo has come under fire for over a month now after labelling a UK size 8 as ‘large’.
Venting their frustrations on Twitter, shoppers of the popular e-tailer claim the brand is misleading its customer with unrealistic sizing information.
Here are the 10 things we’ll *all* be wearing in 2019
Specifying their measurements, the brand wrote in a product description that ‘L is a size 8, M is a size 6 and S is a size 4’, rendering fans shocked at the apparent lack of awareness for anyone above a size 8.
“I have used Boohoo, but their sizing is horrendous” wrote one shopper. “I really don’t know where they get there sizes from. I’m a size 8 and their size 8 would fit a 10 year old.”
Not the first time the brand has been criticised for its sizing, several fans have also objected to the seemingly slim frame of their ‘plus size’ models.
