Spring might still be eight months (and one very cold winter) away, but it’s never too early to start dreaming about what we’ll wear once the weather thaws.
New York Fashion Week wrapped up on Wednesday night, leaving us with enough outfit inspiration to last us through next season.
The runways were not only dotted with famous faces like Ashley Graham, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Slick Woods, and Kaia Gerber, but they were also the source of fashion’s biggest trends, many of which we want to start wearing right now.
But as we looked back on some of the most popular looks from the shows, we couldn’t help but think that a lot of them seemed very familiar and then realized that all of our favorite trends came straight from our grade school closets.
Nostalgia was the name of the sartorial game at NYFW. From cargo pants to tie-dye, scroll through to see some of the spring 2019 fashion trends to get excited for.
