13 epic party houses to rent with a big group of friends, whether it’s your hen do or you just fancy a weekend in the country

In a bid to help you find a chic and stylish property that has enough space for your entire clan, we’ve searched high and wide for thebest party houses to rentright now. Our criteria?

We wanted properties without a mention of a “no party” rule in their list of house regulations – not so you can take the Mick, but just so you feel a little less guilty about turning Spice Girls up to top notch. We also wanted properties with space for 12 or more guests (some of them sleep up to 20) across a selection of spacious rooms. No rooms crammed full of rattling metal bunk beds round these parts.

Party houses are hard to come by. If you’ve ever been put in charge of organising a weekend break with your entire group of mates – or a hen party with 17 strong-willed women – you’ll be all-too familiar with that fact.

Not only are large homes significantly rarer than their three-bedroomed counterparts, naturally, lots of the best Airbnbs in the UK have strict rules and regulations when it comes to loud music and disruption. Fair enough, but what if you want to let your hair down and boogie all night?

Besides the basics, these places have epic kitchens for hosting hella delicious dinners, hot tubs, swimming pools and gardens large enough for the DIY sports day of your dreams. Take this five-star property in Derbyshire, for example. It has space for 16 guests, a hot tub, a sauna and a large BBQ area. Tucked away down a private driveway, it feels totally private and secluded – and there’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, too.

You could venture into the beautiful Peak District, collect fresh eggs from the chickens on-site or take a stroll around the orchard to pick your own apples. Talk about wholesome.

If Derbyshire doesn’t suit, make a beeline for Corffe House which sleeps 20 guests and boasts a cinema room and indoor pool. The kitchen is spacious and modern, the chandelier-adorned dining room is a chic space for hosting a fancy dinner party and the tennis courts are the perfect spot for sweating out all that flavoured gin you consumed the night before. Where do we sign?
