So in today’s major news, Zoë Kravitz just casually dropped out that she’s been engaged since February. How on earth has she managed to keep this one under wraps?
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the Big Little Lies star, 29, dropped in: “Oh yeah, I’m engaged. I haven’t told anyone yet – I mean, I haven’t told the world. I wanted to keep it private. ” And that’s exactly why we love the actress; she is so low-key.
Zoë divulged the news after the interviewer spotted her ring. The star also gave the magazine a run down of exactly how the proposal took place and we’re living for it.
Zoë’s actor partner, Karl Glusman, who she met in bar two years ago, popped the question in their living room at home after plans to propose in Paris fell through.
She explained: “I was in sweatpants. I think I was a little drunk. I could feel his heart beating so fast – I was like, ‘Baby, are you OK? ’ I was actually worried about him! ”
She added: ““He nailed it. And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants. ”
The couple have kept their relationship fairly under wraps, although they did share a super sweet photo to celebrate their one year anniversary in September last year. “Happy 1 year @karlglusman. I’m crazy about you kid,” she wrote alongside the picture, while Karl shared a picture of his girlfriend kissing his cheek with the caption: “1 YEAR STRONG. ”
