The Scrunchie Is Officially Stylish Again

For years the idea of wearing a scrunchie out in public was considered ludicrous to any fashionable female, (after all, who could forget that Sex the City episode? ).

But the polarizing hair trend from the ’80s is finally making a major return, popping up on both the runways and topping off a slew of covetable celeb looks, making the hair accessory we once scoffed at suddenly enticing all over again, proving that when it comes to fashion you should never say never when it comes to ruling out a trend.

The scrunchie of today seems cooler and way more sophisticated, especially when compared to its retro cousin from decades ago, with bow-like detailing, luxe fabrics, and pretty trimmings making the trend seem even more alluring. Whether you decide to rock one on vacation or top off your Saturday night look, you can’t go wrong trying the trend.
