The Holy Trinity: Kim, Kylie & Kendall’s Met Gala video is making us wanna ‘Konvert’

There is perhaps nothing quite as holy in celebrity culture ATM as the Kardashians, so it seems apt that for the Met Gala 2018 the clan’s most famous sisters: Kim, Kylie and Kendall filmed a regal AF video for the occasion.

For American Vogue’s annual photobooth, the concept went one step further for 2018 by turning the Met gallery into a backdrop for some of sassiest examples of swag you have ever seen.

There is also nothing quite like a moving video of the queen of life AKA Frances McDormand going somewhat mad around the Met to really bring the art of the Met Gala to life.

The Oscar-winning star of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, took it one step further by dancing around in her leafy green gown with the designer who fashioned her epic Valentino creation, Pierpaolo Piccioli. Boy, has that girl got some grand moves.

Elsewhere, the new Pope of fashion, Rihanna was seen showcasing her cardinal clothes to the soundtrack of, ‘Personal Jesus’. Walking amongst the statues of the Greek and Roman galleries in her custom Maison Margiela by John Galliano mini dress, cape and oh, of course, her Popeesque hat, it’s safe to say we are converting to the religion of Rihanna. Is it possible to be a disciple of Rihanna? What a career goal that would be.

Also getting in on the action was the sensational SZA, wearing wears by the Gala’s co-chair, Donatella Versace. Naturally given the theme, ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’, the star completed her look with a modern take on the iconic halo.

With the Met Gala gals mixing amongst the gallery space, the videos become the perfect personification of the themes dialogue between iconic fashion pieces and religious art.
