You can fit a lot of tile into 1.4 million square feet. Trust me, I know. Last week, I visited Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center, a massive exhibition space, to attend Coverings, the annual tile and natural stone show. While the event only covered two halls of the GWCC, it felt enormous: Everywhere I looked there were mosaics, stone slabs, and tile for what seemed like miles. After two days of walking the show (and one very full camera roll), I’ve learned more than I ever thought there was to know about tile—and brought back some of the best new looks. Without further ado, the best tile looks right now.
