Sting and Trudie Styler Are Auctioning Off 15 Art Pieces from Their Personal Collection

Sting and Trudie Styler’s impeccable home decor, or at least part of it, is up for grabs as of June 6. The multi-hyphenate couple will be putting 15 works from their personal collection up for auction.

Phillips, the auction house that will be handling the event, commended the couple for their “impressive selection of Italian, French, and Scandinavian 20th-century design. ”

“These works are representative of a true creative collaboration between Sting and Trudie Styler and the inimitable Shelton Mindel, winner of a 2011 National Design Award for Interior Design,” Cordelia Lembo, a Phillips specialist and head of sale, design, said in a statement.

Items for the auction will include pieces by Piero Fornasetti, Serge Roche, and Shiro Kuramata, but perhaps one of the most desired items is Sting’s personal Yamaha piano. A 32-panel La Stanza Metafisica is also among the items of high interest for the June auction.

All of the 15 items were originally housed in the couple’s apartment Central Park West duplex apartment, which they sold for $50 million last May. The couple has since purchased a new apartment adjacent to New York City’s scenic High Line park, in a building designed by late architect Zaha Hadid.

The apartment features a private Imax theater, a 75-foot skylit lap pool, a 24-hour juice bar, and a reservable spa suite with amenities that include a hot tub, plunge pool, sauna, steam room, and rain showers.
