Rowan Blanchard Puts a Cool New Spin on Disney Princesses

Just because Rowan Blanchard has moved on from her “Girl Meets World” gig doesnt mean shes leaving her Disney roots in the past.

The actress-turned-activist accompanied Stuart Vevers, Creative Director at Coach, to the Fashion Los Angeles Awards, where he was honored as Designer of the Year. Taking one look at Blanchards dress, it isnt hard to see why: Vevers knows how to make a dress that is pretty, edgy and comfortable all at once.

The look is a custom take on Coachs ongoing collaboration with Disney, with pretty cottages dotting the landscape and lace birds taking flight across the front. Vevers loves mixing prints and textures, and this look is no exception, with delicate lace trim connecting sage polka dot and Disney Princess-worthy prints.

Of course, Blanchard made the look her own, adding in oversized hoops, a fringed leather Coach bag and sparkly heels from Nicholas Kirkwood. Were especially digging that the pink eye shadowaround her brow bone— which evokes 80s-esque “blush draping” — matches the popsicle-stained tint of her lips.
