When it comes to sell-out summer looks, it’s safe to say that River Island has been absolutely killing it this season.
From their sell-out Bardot top to Pippa O’Connor’s amazing knitwear we’ll be getting our hands on this autumn, the high street store has managed to outdo themselves yet again with their latest summer dress that bloggers are obsessing over.
The dress, which is back in stock (for now. . ) after selling out everywhere, is a chic brown stripe frill tie midi dress, which is super flattering and adds a sophisticated edge to any event with its waterfall slit and tie waist.
NYC blogger and style icon, Retro Flame, donned the dress on her Instagram this week and looked super glam, casually taking a stroll down the streets of the big apple. Goals.
And it’s good news, because just like the Bardot top we’ve spent the last few weeks lusting after, it comes in a LOT of different colours (seven, to be precise), including a vibrant yellow and floral fuschia (perfect for a wedding guest dress), and we love that you can transform it from a day-to-night piece by either pairing it with some simple white trainers or dressing it up with some strappy sandals.
The price varies between £50-£55, depending on which design takes your fancy, and the patterned version is viscose and so imitates the feel of silk.
