Prince Harry and his ex, Chelsy Davy, had a ‘tearful’ phone conversation before his wedding
Prince Harry married Meghan Markle this weekend and the world hasn’t stopped talking about the big day since.
The day was full of incredible dresses, beauty looks, A-list celebrities, and, er, ex-girlfriends.
Harry invited along his two most serious exes, Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy.
Harry was tipped to marry Chelsy, who he was in an on-and-off relationship with for seven years back in 2009.
And now, Vanity Fair are reporting that Harry and Chelsy had a ‘tearful’ phone conversation days before the wedding.
A source told the website: “It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on.
“Chelsy was quite emotional about it all, she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding.”
Speaking back in the day after they broke up, Chelsy told the Daily Mail: “It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope. I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible.”
Either way, it was super mature of Chelsy to go along and support her ex on his big day.
GLAMOUR has reached out to a spokesperson for both Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy and is awaiting comment.
