What can we say? Being brunette is obviously totally hot right now, at least according to the former blonde bombshell, who stepped out on the runway for Paper magazine’s Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraiser event in LA on Oct. 25, where she debuted a darker new ‘do, showing off her new brunette hair.
She rocked a pink bow dress and a tiara, but it was the fact that her signature blonde hair was nowhere in site that had everyone doing a double-take.
When we think of iconic blondes who have shaped the early 00s, Paris Hilton is at the forefront of our minds…which is why we were completely shocked when we heard the business-savvy socialite ditched her signature locks in favor of a brunette hue, (obviously breaking the internet in the process).
To be fair the warm shade is definitely more of a bronde, as the color features honey highlights, but it’s a drastic change for Paris, who has stayed true to her signature look, (and mermaid-like blonde hair), for more than a decade. She wore her new ‘do parted to the side, with her long, straight locks cascading over one shoulder. A black, cold-shoulder midi dress completed her red-carpet-ready look, (and served up serious Blair Waldorf vibes).
While Paris decided to ditch her blonde hair for real, this actually isn’t the first time the star teased us with a dark hair color. Back in July she was spotted out with her boyfriend, where she rocked a brunette wig as everyone speculated whether or not she actually dyed her hair for good. Paris took to social media to share a photo of herself with the darker hair, adding the caption: #BrunettesHaveFunToo, adding fuel to the fire. Later, Paris confirmed that it was, in fact, a wig.
This time around, however, it looks like Paris decided to ditch her signature locks for good…and it’s safe to say that Paris should be referred to as a bronde bombshell until further notice.
