Meghan Markle Wore the Perfect Winter White Wool Coat For Official Engagement Photos

By now you’ve probably heard the exciting news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement. You may have even caught a glimpse of the three-stone diamond ring, which features two stones from late Princess Diana’s collection, she was wearing at their first public appearance as a happily engaged couple earlier this morning in London.

As the two posed for their official engagement photos at Kensington Palace, Markle looked every bit like a princess while holding hands with her royal fiancé.

The soon-to-be duchess wore a tie belt wool coat in winter white by LINE for the official royal engagement photocall. Similar to herringbone weaves, white wool is a classically-chic look fitting for the occasion.

The Canadian knitwear label uses customized yarn blends and pays special attention to shape, sleeves, and tucks to create ready-to-wear coats that are both polished and effortless.

“We are incredibly honored that Meghan chose to wear a LINE coat to mark this very special occasion. Meghan has an effortlessly chic sense of style, which we’ve always admired. We know this particular coat is one of her favorite pieces so we have officially decided to name it ‘Meghan. ’ We are elated for Meghan and wish her a lifetime of happiness with Prince Harry,” John Muscat, president and co-founder of the line, said in a statement.

The winter white coat as seen on Markle has since sold out – and even crashed the company’s website – but other colors, including Dusty Rose (shown above), remain available and will cost you a pretty $799.

She wore a green dress by the Italian brand P. A. R. O. S. H underneath and accessorized with Aquazzura Matilde crisscross suede pumps ($695) and Les Plaisirs de Birks yellow gold and opal earrings ($995).
