IHPR is a boutique agency with offices in LA and NY, working with top-tier fashion and accessories clients. We are seeking a Sr. PR Manager candidate for our fashion team in either our LA or NY office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Secure strategic press coverage – both features and product editorial — in traditional media (print and online media in national, regional and local outlets) along with new media landscapes (blogs, communities and networks)
- Maintain strong relationships with key fashion and market editors, features writers and targeted influencers.
- Create strategic press plans for large national and global brands as well as up-and-coming, niche designers
- Interface with client for all press opportunities, event logistics, overseeing sample traffic, media monitoring, and reporting.
- Contribute to story angle development, writing, daily product placement and media tracking
- Coordinate logistics for targeted press events to support seasonal launches, brand introductions, dinner/cocktail events, press presentations, etc.
- Report to Director, manage PR Assistant
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years experience at a fashion PR agency with proven experience in a managerial role within a contemporary/advanced contemporary fashion environment
- Superior knowledge of a fashion/consumer media practices, as well as an excellent track record in garnering top-tier coverage in print and digital media
- Ability to manage ongoing account activities including developing recaps and agendas, as well as monthly status reports.
- Deep understanding of fashion trends and market
- Experience in supervision/mentoring junior staff
- Must have ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, high-energy environment while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude
- Excellent prioritizing and time management skills with ability to manage many deadlines at one time
- Must be proficient in Powerpoint, Photoshop, Excel, Word, Cision, Fashion GPS and social media networks
