The devil may work hard, but Netflix works harder! With the streaming giant’s push for holiday content, it’s no surprise that they decided to bring the festive fun to their popular new series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
The holiday special, titled A Midwinter’s Tale, debuts on Dec. 14 and follows our favorite band of witches and humans as they celebrate the holidays.
The Spellmans are set to celebrate the Winter Solstice with the rest of the coven from the Church of Night – which apparently includes singing pagan carols (specifically original carols sung by the cast! ! ) and telling ghost stories – but it seems like they’ll be dealing with some unexpected guests, both welcome and unwelcome.
Since this is Chilling Adventures, we have no doubt we’re in for something dark and a little creepy with a festive twist. Maybe we’ll even get a few answers to some of the questions we have from the first season? Okay, probably not.
Luckily, Netflix was in the sharing mood and unveiled some exciting photos from the upcoming special. In the pictures, Sabrina rocks a new platinum-white ‘do, Aunt Hilda looks ready to give someone a beat down in the kitchen, and Ambrose looks like the gorgeous holiday snack you need to get in the merry mood.
