Ellen Pompeo Sells Sprawling Spanish Villa in Hollywood Hills Just Months After Listing Her Sag Harbor Home

Ellen Pompeo is officially down one home now that she’s sold off her 1920s Spanish villa to Sandra J. Brant, the former CEO and publisher of recently-shuttered Interview magazine.

The Grey’s Anatomy actress and her husband, music producer Chris Ivery, originally put the house up for sale back in April with an asking price of $2. 795 million; Brant snapped it up for just a little under that, at $2. 765 million.

The home, which Pompeo has owned for 13 years, is 2,500 square feet, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The exterior of the home is all stone balustrades and brick-laid patios, with a zigzagging staircase that leads from the street up to the carved wood front door, which has unique stained glass accents. The front opens onto a double-height living room with an oversized fireplace and three enormous arched windows.

Next to the living room is a cozy media den and nearby a rustic dining room is linked to the kitchen, which features hexagonal terra-cotta floor tiles and a commercial six-burner range.

Both the bedrooms are located on the second floor of the home, with a shared Jack and Jill-style bathroom that has wood-plank ceilings and a luxurious deep-soaking tub. The hexagonal terra-cotta floors make another appearance here, creating a cohesive vibe of warmth and earthiness throughout the home. Both bedrooms feature ample natural light courtesy of a number of large windows.

The rooms overlook a lush backyard, which feature sculpted hedges, thick laws, a variety of fruit trees, and importantly, a sizable swimming pool. Pompei and Ivery also sold another Los Angeles home late last fall, a Hollywood Hills home that they listed for an asking price of $1. 995 million.

And earlier this year, they put their secluded Sag Harbor getaway on the market for $3. 795 million.
