Still clinging onto summer? Join the club. Let your nails carry the season over via dried flower nails, which see minuscule flowers pressed, dried, and placed onto the nails. So chic.

Dried flower manicures are all over Instagram right now and they're so damn pretty

Everyone on Instagram is keen for a slice of the tropics (no matter the weather) with negative space manis getting a fruity twist.

More of a strawberry gal than watermelon? This teeny print design is cute AF.

Jelly nails are the hot new manicure trend sweeping Instagram and we’re kinda into it. With serious 90s vibes, the manicure style is also being dubbed ‘see-through nails’ or ‘glass nails’ and is achieved by applying a clear translucent tip to the nail. Are you ready for this jelly?

Minimalist rainbows and metal nail art? It doesn’t get much cooler than this. Nails by Park Eunkyung of @nail_unistella.

A little zesty nail inspiration to get you through this gloomy day on the hands of @fashionablykay.

Negative space nails are probably the biggest nail art trend of 2018 and we’re loving this geometric take on it by @paintboxnails.

Bejewelled nails are perfect for showcasing all your creativity – very Dolce & Gabbana. Would you have these for your next mani?

Half-moon designs are nothing new, but we absolutely love the block colour combo of red and pink seen on the runway at Moschino. The perfect accompaniment to your pale pink coat.

This goes much further than a generic nail art idea. That’s right: what you’re seeing right there are actual tattooed nails! Yes, there’s a way to tattoo your nails at tattoo parlours just like they do on your skin (who knew?). The inking lasts for 6 weeks and apparently doesn’t hurt that much. Would you try it?

The craze for crystals has invaded our yoga studios, front rooms and pockets. Now you can hop on the trend by requesting rose quartz nails too. Pretty, no?

This crystal-encrusted 3d look is bound to turn heads with its striking volume and detail.

Gareth Pugh is the Dark Prince of avant-garde fashion, and his creative genius extended to the nails at his show, with hole-punched pitch-black talons.

Everyone knows red and pink makes the best colour-clash. Including Moschino, who accented cuticles in clashing shades at their A/W show.

Pink! Leopard print! Rave bracelets! Nothing but good vibes at Jeremy Scott’s catwalk show.

Statement nails – literally – marched down Vivienne Westwood’s catwalk in Paris.

Our latest inspiration comes straight from the catwalk – more specifically, Jeremy Scott’s. We’re loving the golden art over red polish.

Backstage from Riri’s Fenty show, the nails were daring. You might have to be as badass as Rihanna herself to pull these off.

On a more approachable note, the design at Roberta Einer was kept sweet with candy colours and a tie-die effect.

At Christian Siriano’s NYFW show the design was worthy of Channel’s tweeds.

But our favourite trend of the season might be this flower embellished mani – when is ethereal not beautiful?

How gorgeous are these colourful gradients from nail artist extraordinaire Madeline Poole? We’re in love.

Expressing your horoscope love through your mani? Yep, that’s a thing.

Want a simple, monochrome design? Try this ultra cool outline design…

Or these chic ‘squiggle’ nails. How sophisticated!

We love a metallic look, and this gold-meets-silver design is our new fave.

If you’re a fan of bright designs, this one is perfect for you!

A simple monochrome look with gorgeous gold details works so well. We love this look by Cheeky nails.

Janelle Monae’s Met Gala 2017 mani was monochrome perfection! LOVE.

Katy Perry’s red detailed nails were the icing on the cake at 2017’s Met Gala. She topped off an extravagant ensemble with these cool tips.

Here they are in a little more detail!

We’re so obsessed with Korean nail salon Unistella’s Instagram page – it always gives us so many mani ideas. Our current faves? These glitter-rimmed talons.

The rich colours of Opening Ceremony SS17 collection, were full-on in the brand’s artsy stripped nails.

Spotted on the Cushnie et Ochs’ runway, white nails with silver geometric details.

We’re so coping the nail art on the Rodarte Spring-Summer show. Subtle golden glitter over transparent nail varnish.

Marc Jacobs AW17 show proved nails can be a huge part of your identity! Spell out your name or favourite word with your mani for a touch of personalised genius.

Who says you need nail polish for nail art? Wire should do it. Check out this cool design by Eun Kyung Park, the founder of Unistella salon. She manipulates the wire into different shapes and keeps the nails neat and tidy with just clear nail polish. Love this!

Blake Lively chose this bling-tastic manicure for the Golden Globes. We love how it matches her bedazzled clutch bag.

At the Novis SS17 show at New York Fashion Week, geometric designs were in. Alicia Torello used Louboutin colours to make the nails pop.

We are obsessed with these Kenzo striped nails – we might even have found our Halloween nail look!

Alicia Torello created cool negative space nails at Cushnie et Ochs. She also used Louboutin for this French manicure-inspired look.

Kim Kardashian matched her sparkling diamond to her stunning manicure at the VMA’s last night.
Celebrity manicurist, Kimmie Kyees used Essie Gel Couture in Sheer Fantasy to create the natural nails.

Rihanna rocked gorgeous stiletto nails at the VMA’s last night using Red Carpet Manicure by celebrity manicurist, Kimmie Kyees.

Margot Robbie unleashed her bad side at the premiere of <Suicide Squad[/i] when she rocked up with ‘evil’ spelled out on her talons.
Celebrity manicurist Elle used Red Carpet Manicure to get the look – and chose jet black polish Black Stretch Limo to spell out ‘evil’.
Here’s our guide to the best summer nail art designs for 2016.

Who’d have thought mini egg-inspired nails could look so chic? This design is perfect for spring/summer time and beyond.

We ADORE the matte and shiny mix in Kerry Washington’s nail art. She wore this look to the 2016 Oscars, and shared a picture of it on her Instagram prior to the event.

This gorgeous Christian Louboutin nail art at the AW16 Cushnie & Ochs show during NYFW had us all swooning. It’s super easy to recreate and perfect for anyone who prefers understated designs.

At the AW16 Novis show in New York, this modern and futuristic Christian Louboutin nail art caught our eye.

Follow the model’s lead from the 3.1 Phillip Lim show and wear khaki on your nails (it’s the colour of the season!). Finish the paint job with a cool strip of metallic shine.

Loving the silver glittery mani, Swifty! The GRAMMY Award winner kept her manicure stylish and simple – with silver sparkles.

Is that a lethal weapon, or just Lady Gaga’s manicure? The pop star takes the long nail trend to gaga proportions with these super-long spiky red and black talons.

We really want these custom-made Minx nails

These jewel-encrusted nails were spotted on the catwalk at The Blonds SS 12 show: invest in some nail jewels and get creative for a party-perfect look.

These super sharp nails sure are dramatic.

Yikes! This takes the term ‘eye-opening’ to a whole new level, courtesy of the Nail Design Gallery.

It’s all about Negative Space right now. A fully painted nail is just like so last year. This look doesn’t require a base colour, and gives off the illusion of lacquer floating against a naked nail bed.

We love this summery Snoopy and Woodstock nail art from Instagram user @reina_morishita_bezu. To the beach!

Modern Family star Ariel Winter opted for snow white nails for the iHeartRadio Music Awards. We can’t be sure, but we think that’s a gun design on her ring finger.

Whether you’re headed to Glastonbury or hitting the beach this summer, these ice lolly nails will ensure you win the manicure Olympics (that’s a thing, right?).

To get the look you’ll need the Lottie & Walls ASOS Exclusive Twister Nail Polish & Stencils Set, £15, available at www.asos.com.

Start with a coat of the lemon yellow and then apply the nail stickers to section off lolly stripes once dry.

Next, top up with the red or green layers as instructed.

Once all colours are dry, you can apply the Lottie & Walls ASOS Exclusive Lolly Nail Stickers, £10, www.asos.com, using a pair of tweezers.

Et voila, this Walls X ASOS manicure looks good enough to eat.

Don’t underestimate the impact of a simple half and half two-colour manicure. These lilac and black nails are super-chic. This look was created by Jenny Longworth for Revlon.

Revlon’s ‘Floral Noveaux’ design is created using: Basecoat; Fuchia Fever; Nail Art Detailer Brush; Charming; Knockout; Topcoat. For a step-by-step guide to get this look, click here.

Would you wear ‘I do’ nails on your big day? This girl did! We spied this wedding nail design on Instagram (#WeddingWednesday) and we think it looks pretty amazing. See more from Cazadora de Tendencias here.

These nails are just dreamy – Jennifer Lawrence is giving us major wedding nails inspiration right now. J-Law sported this modern french manicure design at the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.

Actress Busy Philipps attended the 2015 TV Land Awards, and for the occasion she decided to rock a purple mosaic design on her talons. Excellent choice.

Lily Allen took to Instagram to show off her new talons, captioning the picture: “My kids are gonna freak out tomorrow #frozen nails by @sweetbcreations x x x”. We are extremely jealous of her nails, created by the Melrose Place manicurist Sabella “Bella” Snyder, especially because they feature Anna, Elsa and Olaf the snowman.

A big, big nail art fan, Lily’s talons are always dressed to the nines with high fashion designs. We particularly loved these yellow and orange striped designs because they reminded us of an ice lolly.

Nail art and a Pacman ring? We can’t decide what we love more, here!

We love ombré hair so of course, we’re loving the ombré nail trend too. Demi Lovato’s deep purple to pastel mauve designs are exactly the sort of thing we’re looking for this summer.

Way to show off your engagement bling? Why not make like American dancer Allison Holker and alternate your nails between art and just one colour.

A nail salon in Japan totally nailed (sorry) these anime-inspired nails. Even Pokemon Go has got it’s own nail art!

Trust YouTube beauty guru Blair Fowler to have excellent nail art adoring her talons. We love the kiss lips mark and cartoon printed ones, here.

Another star who is no stranger to spot of nail art, is Eliza Doolittle and we’re loving the simplicity of these coral and egg shell polka-dotted nails; perfect for the weekend.

Teen actress – and voice of Dora The Explorer, donchya know? – Fátima Ptacek went hell for leather and nail art on the red carpet recently. With differing designs on each nail, our very favourite has to be that super adorable clock design. We want one!

Pop artist Roy Lichenstein-inspired nails never fail to make a statement, whilst the simple plain white nails help the printed ones to stand out.

These. Are. Incredible. The Illustrated Nail’s gold and pearl lattice designs can’t help but conjure up images of Elizabethan England in our minds with their rich, luxe detailing. In short; these are amazing.

Jameela Jamil’s nail art takes its cue from a pack of cards. Simple, yet oh-so-effective.

Who needs jewellery with these? Another beautiful design from The Illustated Nail; we love the idea of stones around the outside of the nail with deep, jewel tones in the centre as it makes the individual nails look like emeralds.

How do you channel the nail art trend if you’re Jennifer Lopez? Get your name did on your nails, that’s how.

With so many rings and jewels on her fingers, it’s no surprise that Kelly Osbourne went for something a little more pared down on her nails with this blue and cream design. However, if you’re a nail art fan this is a great option for the working week if your offices implement a strict dress code.

Former Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams complemented her glittering red carpet gown with these gorgeous blush pink nails complete with gold-leaf and gem stone detailing on selected fingers.

Rumer Willis’ pink and black nail art almost feels like it’s a design that even we might be able to have a good go at ourselves. The simplicity of the designs on each nail are statement in themselves, whilst the colour combo keeps it fresh.

Michelle White, Creative Director of FrontCover Cosmetics says: “For a modern twist this would work well with just one nail per hand. Use colours that go together tonally, but clashing colours also look strong. Apply the lighter colour onto the nail first. Allow to dry and add another coat. Next sweep across the darker shade in any direction you decide.”

Gwen Stefani’s dotty about nail art. Her monochrome chequered design is super-cute.
