And the industry icon just got the royal seal of approval, after receiving an MBE from none other than the Queen for services to the beauty and cosmetics industry.
“I feel incredibly honoured and very proud to receive an MBE in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List,” said Charlotte. “To be recognised for my services to the beauty industry as both a makeup artist and entrepreneur is an amazing personal accolade which means so much to me. I have been fortunate enough to work at the forefront of the beauty industry for over two decades which has allowed me to share my vision with the world, changing the way women, from 18-80, perceive themselves through the use of makeup.
“I have always been passionate about empowering women and helping them to feel confident and the most beautiful versions of themselves through the power of beauty, it inspired my philosophy ‘Give a woman the right makeup and she can conquer the world! There are so many people I want to express my thanks and gratitude towards. ”
