A popular online retailer has been labelled ‘disgusting and damaging’ over this sizing description

Online shoppers are known for sharing their thoughts openly when it comes to brands disappointing them, but it often dies down after a few days. In an unusually long-standing show of mass outcry, Boohoo has come under fire for over a month now after labelling a UK size 8 as ‘large’.

Venting their frustrations on Twitter, shoppers of the popular e-tailer claim the brand is misleading its customer with unrealistic sizing information.

Specifying their measurements, the brand wrote in a product description that ‘L is a size 8, M is a size 6 and S is a size 4’, rendering fans shocked at the apparent lack of awareness for anyone above a size 8.

“I have used Boohoo, but their sizing is horrendous” wrote one shopper. “I really don’t know where they get there sizes from. I’m a size 8 and their size 8 would fit a 10 year old. ”

Not the first time the brand has been criticised for its sizing, several fans have also objected to the seemingly slim frame of their ‘plus size’ models.
