The much-anticipated second season of This Is Uspremieres tonight at 9 p. m. EST on NBC, and the internet is abuzz with excitement. The award-winning drama stole the hearts of many last season with its unparalleled portrayal of the flawed family.

The writers and cast, which includes Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Okay, this is serious: Will Kate be going through with her engagement to Toby? On Extra, Ventimiglia said he thought it would make his character very happy if they were to get married … so even though she doesn’t have him to walk her down the aisle, Kate definitely has her father’s blessing.
